Project Architect
Third-party notices

Version 2.0.0 - updated 4 August 2026

The Project Architect Software includes or may include third-party components subject to separate intellectual-property rights. Those components’ license terms apply specifically to the relevant portions and prevail, for those portions, over incompatible general EULA clauses.

The User agrees to comply with the rights and obligations applicable to those components (attribution, preservation of notices, redistribution restrictions, and similar).

Full license texts are provided in the Distribution, including LICENSE.ExifTool.txt and LICENSE.MediaInfo.txt.

This English notice is the controlling notice text for the international storefront if a translation conflicts, subject to each component’s original license text (which controls for that component).

ExifTool

Component name: ExifTool
Authors / rights holder: Phil Harvey and contributors
Official site: https://exiftool.org
License type: under the same terms as Perl itself (Perl dual license: Artistic License / GNU GPL, as applicable)
Reference: https://github.com/exiftool/exiftool/blob/master/LICENSE
Full text in the Distribution: LICENSE.ExifTool.txt

Use in Project Architect: local reading of media metadata; normalization of technical information for project organization. ExifTool runs on the User’s machine. No media is sent to the Publisher merely because ExifTool is used.

Distribution compliance: preserve notices and attributions; provide the applicable license text in the Distribution.

MediaInfo

Component name: MediaInfo
Authors / rights holder: MediaArea.net / MediaArea and contributors
Official site: https://mediaarea.net/MediaInfo
License type: BSD 2-Clause License
Reference: https://github.com/MediaArea/MediaInfo/blob/master/License.html
Full text in the Distribution: LICENSE.MediaInfo.txt

Use in Project Architect: local reading of media metadata (embedded command-line tool); complementary camera identity for certain streams (for example Sony cinema / MXF) where ExifTool does not expose the required information. MediaInfo runs on the User’s machine. No media is sent to the Publisher merely because MediaInfo is used.

Distribution compliance: preserve MediaInfo / MediaArea notices and attributions; provide the BSD 2-Clause text in the Distribution.

Other open-source dependencies

The Software may also include other open-source dependencies (including compiled components under MIT and/or Apache-2.0-style licenses, or other compatible licenses). Associated obligations (copyright notices, license texts, redistribution conditions) must be respected and preserved in distribution artifacts where required by the relevant license.

Adobe technologies

Adobe CEP / SDK technologies used by Project Architect are subject to the applicable terms of the Adobe ecosystem. No affiliation, endorsement, or partnership with Adobe is implied. The User and the Publisher remain responsible for complying with Adobe terms applicable to their use.

Disclaimer

Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, third-party components are provided “AS IS”, without express or implied warranty, within the limits set by their respective licenses and applicable law.
